Since purchasing the Napoleon PF450, I have continued to be amazed at the versatility inherent in such a compact unit. Direct and indirect cooking, rotisserie roasting, grilling with infrared, gas or charcoal (I highly recommend the optional charcoal tray), and smoking are all easily accomplished with this unit. The very precise temperature gauge located on the oven hood makes it easy to adjust and hold a cooking point, and the oven maintains a constant temperature with very little monitoring or adjustment (I have noticed that direct sun on a hot day can raise temperatures accordingly). Design, fit and finish are all excellent, with two good sized storage areas located below providing room for equipment and condiments within easy reach. Basic grilling times offered in the grill cookbook should be viewed as approximate, however, and I have found that some temperatures listed may be higher than necessary (I am from the low and slow school). While the smoker box that is provided with the grill works very well, the size is somewhat small necessitating refilling if a more pronounced smoke taste is desired and cooking time is prolonged. The charcoal tray, being much larger, can be filled with soaked chips and covered with foil, holes punched in the top, and used instead with good results. Indirect cooking with the food away from the heat works very well, with the use of a cooking pan to catch drippings and filled with some liquid to provide moisture to the ovens heat a great way to do any meat that needs time for the tissues to break down and become tender, e.g. ribs or pork shoulder. The infrared burner is an absolute must for searing, and works exceptionally well when grilling vegetables (I do not put them directly over the infrared heat like meat because they will burn, but use an oiled grill pan with holes in the bottom, having cut them into bite sized pieces and tossed with oil and seasoning before grilling). In summary, the Napoleon PF450 is a well thought out and executed grilling system that should provide years of great meals and service. As an aside, the purchase with Zoobler was consistently first rate from start to finish. TJ in sales answered question after question, even going to the warehouse to verify that everything was as advertised. Shipping and customer care were great, insuring that delivery was in a smaller truck due to narrow street access. All in all, highly recommended.

Recently I received my Napoleon PT600RBINZ-1 Gas Grill and accessories. Unfortunately, the grill cover was back ordered, but everything else on my order arrived. Not only did my order arrive as scheduled, but I was COMPLETELY IMPRESSED with the obvious care which was taken in packing and "skidding" my shipment. The grill was relatively easy to assemble (did it alone) and is now operating perfectly and as advertised. Well, I'm happy to say that your diagnosis of my ongoing problem appears to have been "right on !" I replaced the combustion fan unit the weekend after Thanksgiving and the stove seems to be operating perfectly ever since... HOO-RAY

On the very first light-up after changing the fan unit, the stove kicked on (and I could definitely hear the new motor start up at the same time as the blower fan). The controller dropped an initial load of pellets, the igniter fired up and ignited these, then there was a 'settling down' period while the flame base spread out, then the unit started dropping pellets to sustain the burn. All as if nothing had ever been wrong.

Just a note to say thanks for selling such an awesome stove! I bought an Optima III stove by Whitfield in mid-October. I have used the stove 24/7 until this week. I have had to clean it about every 10 days (takes about 5 minutes). Other than that, I've just cleaned the optical lense every three weeks. This stove has heated my entire house, which has 17 foot cathedral ceillings, and saved me about $1,200.00 in oil. Our house has been at a constant 71 degrees. I went through about $400.00 in pellets. I used to have a wood stove and hated the mess, smell, stacking and splitting. This stove was 1000 times cleaner and easier to operate.

Just thought you might want to hear from a happy customer.
